McCann returns to Kaseya to enhance support for partners across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia
April 27, 2021 — SYDNEY and MIAMI — Kaseya®, the leading provider of IT and security management solutions for managed service providers (MSPs) and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has appointed Dermot McCann as SVP and GM, APAC, to showcase its continued commitment to partners across the APAC region.
In this role, McCann will oversee the go-to-market strategy for Kaseya in APAC, including new business and account management, and will be based out of the company’s Sydney office. By appointing McCann, Kaseya will enable a larger number of MSPs to expand their businesses by using Kaseya’s IT Complete suite of solutions to realize increased productivity and profitability.
McCann brings over 25 years of experience leading global technology companies like Optus and IBM, where he was responsible for business and sales transformation efforts that resulted in significant operational improvements and increased revenue. In his most recent role as founder of Promysys, McCann was responsible for scaling the global regulatory technology start-up across three continents in 18 months. In his previous role at Kaseya, McCann spent five years as Managing Director of the Australia and New Zealand regions, where he grew the APAC team and led new customer acquisition efforts.
