This is achieved through Kaseya’s unique combination of powerful features that are affordable and scalable.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Lead DevOps Engineer at Kaseya, you will play a key role in growing our infrastructure, accelerating the delivery of value to our partners, and ensuring that our RMM meets our high standards for reliability, performance, and security.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, build, operate and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure underpinning RMM.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform root cause analysis of production incidents.
  • Drive release engineering efforts, including platform releases and CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.
  • Partner with Product Engineering, SRE, QA, DBAs, and cross-functional stakeholders to help ensure product reliability, performance, and security.
  • Mentor other team members and be a champion for best practices.
  • Manage complex technical projects with ambitious deadlines.
  • Drive architectural and operational readiness reviews.
  • Contribute to cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Participate in security and compliance reviews.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating AWS infrastructure.
  • Experience with SCM (e.g., Git), and designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Code Deploy, or similar.
  • Experience with RDBMs and NoSQL data stores such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
  • Growth-mindset: you embrace challenge and are a continuous learner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail: you see production incidents or infrastructure issues as a challenge from which valuable lessons can be derived.
  • Experience with docker and container orchestration (e.g., AWS ECS).
  • Experience documenting microservice architectures.
  • Passion for automation and the eliminating of operational toil.
  • Code-first mentality: you love the idea of code-formed infrastructure.
  • Development experience in at least one language (Java or Python preferred).
  • Self-starter: you require minimal supervision, seek out ways to do more with less, and recommend improvements to our infrastructure and our products.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: you can articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with AWS Glue and Athena a plus.
  • Experience with observability tooling such as Elasticsearch, graphite/Grafana, and APM a plus.
